the English pronoun
first person nominative singular
and organ of vision
are the same -

in Isaiah
the prophet of God
and vision
and person
I am
are - yes - the same.

I am caught in earshot
to speak the salvation of the earth,
snared by words I did not write
to set my life
for the salvation of the earth
I do not make.
