Luke 20:27-38
Raising Questions
are different from those people use as baits
to draw us in before we see the game afoot
as those fellows tried on Jesus.
They chose poorly,
for unlike the others,
this kind is a curse that backfires on the pointer of the wand -
hurled straight into the grave,
cronies, cherished creeds
fall to dust, nothing sure
but for whatever God might choose to cure.
